Just installed FileZilla on Fedora 23 using dnf. I'm running GNOME as my desktop environment.
My machine is a Lenovo X1 Carbon 2nd Gen with a screen resolution of 2560x1440.
When I run FileZilla it is totally unusable. It opens in a window approximately 1/6 th the size of my display. There is no maximise button and double clicking the title bar doesn't cause it to maximise. I am running GNOME tweak tool which is set to force display the maximise and minimise buttons on applications. Only the minimise button is showing. I have tried toggling them back and forth but it doesn't make a difference.
In the bottom right of FileZilla there is a "grab handle" that should let me resize the window. I am unable to click that and thus resize the window. Consequently I'm stuck with a tiny window that is unusable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: unusable - help?
Which version of FileZilla are you using?
Re: unusable - help?
3.14.1 according to the "about" dialog.
Re: unusable - help?
Which theme engine are you using for GTK+3 programs?
Re: unusable - help?
According to Gnome Tweak Tool, my theme is called "Adwaita".
Whilst playing around in the tweak tool I noticed the "HiDPI Window Scaling". It was set to 1. I incremented it to 2 and didn't notice any difference. When I reverted it to 1 a bunch of my windows resized. I'm guessing there is a bug in the Tweak tool and it was already set to 2? Anyway, after that the maximize button on FileZilla suddenly appeared and I am now able to grab the "grab handle" to resize the window. I'm not sure if this was all caused by the Tweak Tool or something else. FileZilla appears to be working okay now, although everything is tiny i.e. doesn't scale well on an HiDPI screen.

Re: unusable - help?
Ah, the missing piece of the puzzle. With DPI scaling set to 2 I can reproduce this.
This is a bug in wxWidgets, I've submitted a small patch that fixes this issue: http://trac.wxwidgets.org/ticket/17456
Please contact the Fedora package maintainer for the wxGTK3 package and inform him/her about this patch.
