New Photos not showing
Hello, I uploaded my large website with Filezilla and it worked perfectly
However, when I try to update some photos on an existing file the new photo
does not appear. The original photo appears. It tried changing the transfer option
from Auto to Binary but no change. I tried different photos on different pages and
the same thing happens. I can change text and add you tube vidoes without issues.
The changes appear in the preview of site spinner pro. All photos are in the same file and are .jpg
I used Site Spinner Pro(2.92Q newest version) to create the website and am using Windows 10 home 64 bit, Filezilla 3.24.0
Here is a link to the page with the old photo and new new photo:
<removed>
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Bruce

Re: New Photos not showing
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
Forgive my ignorance, but could you explain uploaded to the correct directory
and Character case.
Thanks
Bruce

Re: New Photos not showing
If you upload in one directory and then look for it in another directory then it won't be found. As many servers are case-sensitive, uploading it using one character case and then looking for it using different character case won't work either.

Check the source code of one of the images against the location on the server.

Re: New Photos not showing
Thanks, I checked the preview photo in Site Spinner Pro
and the good photo is located in the file it should be in. The picture not showing
seems to be located in a Temp file. Should I clear the Temp folder and Cache?
Thanks again.

Re: New Photos not showing
Not sure what you mean by a temp file.
Easiest way is to upload an image with a name that isn't already on there then you can see where your files are being uploaded to.

Re: New Photos not showing
Thanks for your reply. Now when I delete and reinstall a photo
that was working the same issue occurs (Can't see the uploaded photo)
I see on the image information the type has changed from JPG image to text/html .
All the photos are coming out of the same file and they are lower
case with an underscore between the words. Here is the page
that has the photo issues: bellmachineryltd.com/new_oxford_949vs.html
Would you mind looking at it and see where I made a mistake.
Thanks

Re: New Photos not showing
It looks like you are not uploading to your 'image' directory on the server.
if image 'obj24903geo18369pg67p4.jpg' is not in the image directory on the server, you are either uploading the wrong file or uploading the file to the wrong place.
If you copy this link into your browser address panel:-
http://www.bellmachineryltd.com/image/o ... pg67p4.jpg
it should display the image.

Re: New Photos not showing
You are correct. For some reason, the software I use
has a nasty habit of moving the photos from the designated file.
Thanks again for all you r help. It is greatly appreciated.
