Nothing is and was running other than filezilla each time. I have no clue what causes it to just stop the upload and say that is is being used by another process yet nothing else is running. Is there a solve to this?
Files upload to about 30% percent before 550 error

Re: Files upload to about 30% percent before 550 error
Some process on the server still has the file opened. Please make sure no other process has opened the file on the server before uploading it.
Alternatively switch to a server that does not run Windows.

Re: Files upload to about 30% percent before 550 error
This process only opens the file 30% through or the last try 60% through? Then i can resume or write over or it tell file successful even when it obvious it isnt.
Re: Files upload to about 30% percent before 550 error
A bit late, but...
Virus scanners and similar software can access the file at any time. For example, I had a strange issue with the avast A/V that interrupted downloads after 20000000 Bytes. Resuming or overwriting the file will not succeed until the A/V releases the file, again.

Re: Files upload to about 30% percent before 550 error
Hi, I noticed that this post is kinda old,
I recently had the same problem - and I find that it can be easily solved if I rename my file to a different name, and then upload again, it will upload no problem.
Hope it works for others too.
