Can't reconnect to server
I can't "reconnect" to the server. It's grayed out. I updated FileZilla about 2 weeks ago and that's when the problem showed up. I just tried updating to the latest version today now, and I'm still having the issue. Any ideas?

You need to connect to the server one time the "normal" way (Site Manager or QuickConnect), then it will be available again.
The only permanent storage for server login data is the Site Manager. QuickConnect and Reconnect are convenience features and their stored info can get lost (e. g. when clearing private data).

Ok, thanks. I figured it was something like that. Unfortunately, the person that did our website a long time ago basically doesn't return any calls and we have no access to it because we found out he was hosting it through a personal folder or something. We can't get him to give us any of the info to access it and any time we've been able to get ahold of him, he can't or won't make changes or fix issues. :/

If the login data is still stored in the Site Manager or QuickConnect, use this data to connect.

Oh, I didn't realize the "Site Manager" was actually in the FileZilla program under "File". The info was still stored in it and I was able to reconnect. Thank you!

To be safe, use the menu File - Export... command. It allows you to make a backup of the Site Manager entries (and others, too), just in case.
