Error: Listing Failed is driving me nuts

#1 Post by Electronixen » 2018-10-10 17:34

Hi! I have no problems whatsoever connecting over LAN, but trying to connect externally will never work. I have port forwarded port no. 800 (which I use for FTP due to other service using 21), and 990, aswell as 50000-50100. But this problem never stops. Any help would be appreciated since I have no idea what the problem is.

I am using 50000-50100 for Custom port range in Passive, aswell as "The following IP".

Serverlog:

425 Can't open data connection for transfer of "/"

Ftptest.net log:
Reply: 425 Can't open data connection for transfer of "/"

Error: Listing failed

Does your router correctly forward the range of ports? Some cannot do it or have a rather surprising syntax for it.

Yes, Filezilla is the first program to malfunction. I have hosted a variety of gameservers, I also have a Synology NAS which functions without a problem.
