Any idea if explorer drag support will eventually come to windows 1803?

#1 Post by danielocdh » 2018-11-06 05:34

So, sadly I'm using windows 1803 and updating to 1809 is very unlikely to happen soon as the time needed to remove trash from windows and verify everything is working is just not there at least for several months.
I'm still not clear about the "windows problem" being a fix or a bug, and as most users I just want my favorite ftp client functionality back.

Does anyone know if Microsoft will fix or have fixed the issue on 1803?
Are there any official links (to upvote the issue or something) on this?

Thanks

As 1803 is not an LTS release, they will probably not bother with it. It's MS, after all.

Doesn't Win X have Feedback links at every corner? There's also the Feedback hub, AFAIK.

Microsoft has already backported the fix to 1803, just run Windows Update.

Thanks!
My windows update broke... again, I had to clear/rebuild cache and then the update showed up (KB4462933)

It didn't work the first time (I uninstalled FileZilla, installed FileZilla and restarted quickly), so I had to try again and it got fixed (installed FileZilla on top, waited a few minutes then restarted).
