Restting FileZilla to updated Website

#1 Post by Jinxtah » 2018-11-21 19:32

Dear All,

I have searched the forum but am not able to find an answer I can understand (I'm a total newbie!).

Is there a way to delete all FileZilla content associated with a website and essentially start again? By that I mean, delete everything and just have FileZilla treat your website as a brand-new build? In essence to ensure that it only keeps the data and content of the website as it exists today?

I would be immensely grateful for any advice.

Best wishes,

E

FileZilla is just the tool you use to transfer files. It does not associate any state with server-side files.

You can, of course, use FileZilla to delete the website files off of your hosting server. Then, the webspace is squeaky-clean and can be filled again with new contents.
