Dropbox connection issue

#1 Post by hurtphotography » 2018-09-06 01:19

So I found out that dropbox was recently added into the pro version. I've been using the standard version for a while and went ahead and paid for the pro a few days ago for the key benefit of being able to use it to upload to dropbox. I upload a lot of files to my dropbox account daily and was never able to prioritize the upload order. Which is important so things I need up right away are not delayed and I don't have to wait for them to finish before adding other folders. Filezilla allows priority or upload orders so was hoping this would resolve that issue for me.

I went through the process of setting up the client for dropbox. I can connect to my account just fine and start uploading files. However after about an hour of uploading I guess I'm losing connection with dropbox as the remaining files fail. I have to reconnect the server, allow the app in the web browser and reprocess the que once I discover this hours later. Is there a way to correct this so the connection does not get interrupted with dropbox after a certain amount of time? I have tried to go into the FTP settings and check send FTP keep-alive commands but it still drops off.

So was able to spend some time tonight on the computer. It is exactly at the 1 hour (started upload at 00:20 a.m.) mark that it appears the connection gets lost. If I log back in to the dropbox site and reprocess que it starts back up but only lasts for another hour before it gets kicked back out.

Below is the log that shows, So the first group is right after the last successful upload. At the end of this the remaining files fail. Not sure if there is anything in this that's useful but figured would add just in case.

Last successful upload then get:
