FZ 3.39.0 doesn't see var/www

#1 Post by geomcd1949 » 2019-01-25 02:27

Upgraded to FZ 3.39.0 on Ubuntu 18.04. Previously FZ worked perfectly. Upgrade doesn't show the www folder within Local Site /var/ [It lists only data, run, db, config, cache, and tmp].

Thanks.

Do you by chance have directory listing filters enabled?

I don't know how to determine if I do or I don't have directory listing filters enabled.

Would you do me a huge favor and tell me precisely how to navigate to the switch, and what to enablwe or disable when I geth there?

Thanks very much.

Thank you. Found it. No filters were checked. Same problem remained.

Opened FZ using the terminal. That gave me access to /var/www/.

Now, however, every time I open FZ, I first must click out the message that says:

"An error occurred saving the transfer queue to "/home/george/.config/filezilla/queue.sqlite3".
Some queue items might not have been saved."

Any ideas on how to get rid of this message?

FZ works fine after I click OK to close it.

Again, thanks.

Where did you obtain FileZilla? It sounds like you are using a sandboxed third-party package.

I may have messed something up on my system. I installed FZ 3.40. When it didn't work properly [problem detailed above], I uninstalled it and re-installed 3.39 from the Ubuntu Software Center.

Please note that outdated and Linux repository versions are not eligible for support from here. Only the binaries from this site and self-compiled (to a degree).
