How to change the remote path that a file is uploaded to when I edit the local version?

#1 Post by mcplums » 2019-05-27 10:48

The way I work is, within filezilla, I browse to the file I want to work on then right click - edit. After finishing I then save it. Then a box pops up 'a file previously opened has been change' and details the server and the remote path, and asks whether I want to upload.

The problem is that often, the remote path it will upload to is incorrect. So I have to press no, then browse to the right location, and then drag my file over. I've tried dragging the file from the sever to my local directory as a way to teach filezilla where it belongs but it doesn't work.

How to fix?
