I've seen the posts saying that these are false positives here, but that doesn't help when the anti-virus program immediately deletes the file because of the 'virus' and no, before it is asked, I will not disable it just to download an application from the internet, that is just asking for issues.
Is there a planned fix for this, or do I need to start looking for a different FTP program?

Ok, found there is a second page of downloads that do not flag as a virus with the system. But seriously, why bundle things in if they are going to give you such a bad name. We were discussing going to another product over this, as that is unacceptable.

Maybe these trojans were on the stick memory key, try to clean the memory key first.

As long as you download FileZilla through the official website it's a false-positive, there is no virus in the offer-enabled installer.

Well, if you have this issue again, just turn off the antivirus when you are 100% sure it's a false positive.
And remember some antivirus are tricky and even some can be considered malware. Be sure you are using a proper one.
