Situation:
I have a dedicated server running WHM/cPanel.
FireZilla 0.9.59 beta
Attempting to have my scheduled server backups sent to my local network via FTP
History:
Previously all went well all backups were transferred to my local network
Recently had to make a hardware change locally, replaced a cable modem with using its built in router with new modem which I need to have in bridge mode and use a stand alone router.
After the change over, the transfers fail.
SSH into the server and attempting to open an FTP connect to my local IP fails. No return what so ever.
DTP is port forwarded in the router.
PING from the server to the local IP is successful.
csf firewall is installed on the server, disabling thew firewall has no effect on the situation.
Please advise what DFU error I am making that is causing this to fail.
Thanks!

Re: One More Passive Mode Issue
You need to update to the most recent version of FileZilla Server. Not that there is no r in FileZilla.

Updated. Issue still exists. All these years with my dyslexia I though the software was called FIREzilla. DOH!
Re: One More Passive Mode Issue
Not all routers are equal, some support port forwarding better than others. A few even don't support it at all, and the settings are bogus.
With port forwarding in the router,
- don't use pre-made profiles, use custom settings,
- use static forwarding, port triggering cannot be used for FTP,
- forward all involved ports (listening port + complete passive port range),
- TCP-only, FTP does not use UDP.
Switch off any buzzword-advertised "helper features" (if any). They do more harm than good.
For the other device, check if it is true bridge mode and not doing double-NAT. If you cannot set it to true bridge mode, configure the IP of the designated router as DMZ.

No support requests over PM! You will NOT get any reply!!!
