Trying to send files to Minecraft Server Website

#1 Post by lackingrandom » 2019-11-22 22:19

So I need to use FileZilla to upload jar programs larger than 2 MB for plugins on my developing Minecraft Server. I followed several tutorials in order to set this up right but the following occurs and I have no clue on what to do. Please help

What shows:
Status: Resolving address of <a third-party hosting provider>
Status: Connecting to (IP that I won't show)...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Response: 220 Multicraft 2.3.1 FTP server
Command: AUTH TLS
Response: 500 FTPS not enabled, AUTH not supported.
Command: AUTH SSL
Response: 500 FTPS not enabled, AUTH not supported.
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server

Your server simply does not support the requested protocol.

You need to use insecure unencrypted FTP with your server, blasting your password in plain through the internet.
