unfortunately it is not clear where the servermanager.xml is stored at the mac.

Can anyone tell me that?

There is no servermanager.xml, do you refer to sitemanager.xml, maybe?

Configuration should be stored in ~/.config/filezilla on Mac, while ~ is your user's directory. Note the .config directory is hidden by default, you need to instruct the file manager to show it.
