Failure to connect after update

I updated to Filezilla 3.46.3.
Using the previously-saved host,username,pass and Quickconnect, I get the message saying that I cannot connect to the server.
I tried a second site with a different host and it was successful. Is there something about the first site that may needs a change in the settings?

I have have a similar problem. After updating to the latest version 3.46.3 I can now log in to my remote server, and I can download the contents of folders on that server. However when I try to transfer a file in either direction the program tells me it cannot connect to the server. Fortunately Terrapin, which I used to use, still works for me.
I would like to go back to the previous version but I don't know how to do so.

Previous QuickConnect entries are not guaranteed to be preserved on updates. Try entering fresh login data.
Where does it stop exactly and what does it say in the Log?

Does the server allow multiple logins from the same IP?

I am using filezilla and I KNOW my User name and password is good I have been to the site using a web browser but I cannot connect to the site Help please.

Response: 331 Hello ---------, please enter your password.
Command: PASS *************
Response: 530 Username/password not accepted for -------- on account '-------'.
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server

this is the message I am getting I blanked out site and user but you should get the Idea. When I use Filezilla I cannot connect but using a web browser I can.

Are you truly using FTP when connecting with the browser (many browser vendors are in the process of removing FTP support completely)? FTP is a different service altogether, compared with any HTTP(S)-based services. That means that usernames and passwords used for browser logins are potentially not the same you need for FTP.
