cant load PEM file

I have tried to use the Edit (menu) -> Settings (menu) -> SFTP (left pane) -> Add Key (Button) and select a SSH2 PEM
However, I cannot seem to load this pem into Filezilla. '

When I use the Site Manager -> New Site -> SFTP -> Key File , I am unable to load the pem key file

When I hit Connect the PORT goes blank and it rings.. but no message..

Please assist.




I used key generated using python cryptography.hazmat.primitives.asymmetric rsa) and I am able to login using SFTP (CLI ) on my Mac and Windows 10.
