Synchronizing Site Manger Data is only available in FileZilla Pro. It is most useful if you use FileZilla Pro on multiple computers.

In order to use it, you need access to any arbitrary[1] remote server. To set it up, enter the server credentials in the dialog, pick any existing remote path and think up a long synchronization passphrase[2], the longer the better.

Do the same on a second computer you are using FileZilla Pro on and enter the same passphrase.

From then on any changes you make in the Site Manager on one computer are also visible on any other synced computer. Works like magic[3].

[1] For optimal performance we recommend a server close to your location
[2] From this passphrase an encryption key is derived. Given a long enough passphrase, you could even store your sites on a public server
[3] Magician not included
