Now that I know where to find older versions of FileZilla (there are dozens of them), is there anyone that can tell me the version number or release date of the last version of FileZilla that supported Windows XP?

0.9.42 is the presumed last XP FileZilla Server version. Nothing to do with FileZilla (Client).
Last version working on XP was in the 3.9.0.1 range. Very old and insecure.

You are _NOT_ supposed to use FileZilla Server on Windows XP. Install a more modern operating system already.
