I disabled updating checking so as to avoid annoying popups pestering me when I open FileZilla. Apparently it was updated, because I now get this:
That is SO extremely aggravating. If I disabled updating, then I obviously don't want this !&@^!*(@ in my face every time I open the client. Is there any way to tell FZ to stop annoying me?
Thanks!

You are not using the latest version of FileZilla. You need to update to the most recent version of FileZilla.
If you cannot update to the most recent version, open a can of surströmming in your system administrator's cubicle.

Re: How to kill this annoying popup
Thanks. Kind of weird though; I'd have thought telling FZ I don't want to be bothered with updates would mean it'd not do this. I hate it when programs force me to different versions; like when Skype forced me to version 8. I may want to stay with the version I have, aggravating that it pesters me. Ah well, thanks.
Re: How to kill this annoying popup
Even if you never check for updates, FileZilla considers itself as obsolete build after some time has passed. Then, that popup appears. Apart from that, it will stay fully usable.

One should never ever use outdated software in a networked environment.
