Backing up from GoDaddy

#1 Post by Major1 » 2020-06-09 04:53

I'm changing Hosting with GoDaddy, and I'm instructed to use Filezilla, I log in, click and drag files from remote to local. but not all directories copy. I tried to click and drag them individually but no Bueno. I tried several times and it's the same directories every time, mostly WordPress directories, but a couple of others as well. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I have had some success taking one folder at a time, but some of the folders have several, deeper directories, that time out. it's frustrating.

Did you try setting the timeout value higher? Might be necessary for slow servers (heavy load?) with complex directory structures.
