we use FZ to upload my wife's artwork to her website, we have no contact with who set the website up.
Ive just moved Macs, and when I go to log in, I don't have the password? Previously Ive just clicked on Site manager, then connect.
Is there anyway we can get logged back on without being to technical?
Thanks

Re: Password
You would need the sitemanager.xml config file from your old Mac. Can be found in the path "~/.config/filezilla" (~ = User directory).
Also check the settings of the new FileZilla installation, it might have been set by accident to not save passwords (this also deletes all old ones).
Unfortunately, it cannot go less technical from here, only more.

Thanks for the reply, Its been a pain, and I hope we don't lose the website because of it.
I'll let someone see your reply who may understand more than I do.

On your Old Mac open FileZilla, go to the menu bar and go to File > Export... > Export Site Manager Entries. Save the XML file and move it to the new mac (perhaps with a USB stick or however you choose)
On your New Mac open FileZilla, go to File > Import, find your saved XML file and then click Open. This should import all your old settings into the new copy of Filezilla.
