I just subscribed to a free trial of Filezilla Pro but unable to use it. When I launch it a pop-up that says "Try FileZilla Pro for free fro the first week, then pay only $9.49 per year!" pops up. There's a subscribe button below it. When I click on "Subscribe" it'll say I'm already subscribed. I tried ending the program and re-launching but still the same. I have also rebooted my Mac but same issue.

Occasionally the store system gets into a weird state. Try the link to restore a subscription. If that doesn't help, try removing and reinstalling FileZilla Pro.

Thanks...that didn't work. I gave up and decided to download the free version and instead. That worked.

Don't forget to cancel your trial subscription in the store.

I've just subscribed to a free trial and want to cancel, but the app is not listed as a subscription, then how should I cancel?

Unless the App Store is having a hiccup, if it doesn't show you as subscribed where one manages subscriptions, then you are not subscribed.
