Hey,
So I've been trying to connect my Laptop via an ethernet cord straight to my PS3.
Only to receive "ETIMEDOUT - Zeitüberschreitung bei Verbindungsversuch".
Now I read that this usually means the firewall blocks things but i deactivated defender and that's the only one i have.
The config-wiz gives me the following

Antwort: 230 logged on.

FTP clients like FileZilla need a server to connect to. Can you confirm the PS3 is running an FTP or an SFTP server of some kind?
Also, don't connect the PS3 directly to the Laptop, connect it to your LAN. That way, it will get an IP from the DHCP server and you can actually connect to it.

Yes I have an ftp software running and i have set up an ethernet connection between the laptop and the ps3, allocating ips and subnet masks manually.
