No access to the NAS?

#1 Post by Jokovich » 2020-10-31 15:19

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum.
Maybe there is already such a topic, but I did not find it.
How do I make the NAS available?

Thank,
Jokovich.

We cannot give a satisfying answer to this question. It all depends on your NAS and its functions. A true NAS will provide a number of services (FTP, SFTP, SSH, SMB, WebDAV etc.) you just have to enable, for the storage to be accessible.

There are also simple hard disks or devices called SANs that have to be attached to a server of some kind, which will provide the access services. Some routers also offer the possibility for attaching a USB HDD or SAN.
