Hi,
Can anybody tell me if IIS can support MFMT, or otherwise have any way to preserve timestamps of files uploaded using FileZilla?
I have looked around in the IIS Manager (IIS 10 / Windows Server 2016) and searched in MS documentation but am not seeing anything. If MFMT is not supported, is there any other way I could preserve timestamps using a Windows server?

File timestamps on upload can only be preserved if the server supports MFMT. Other, non-standard and potentially troublesome hacks (like MDTM xxxx) are not supported by FileZilla.

Re: Preserving timestamps with IIS
Yes, I understand that. So, currently the Server does not support MFMT, as I can see by sending FEAT (Though it does support MDTM which makes no difference as you point out).
So my question is (1) can I configure IIS to support MFMT?
And if not, then (2) is there another solution for Windows server that would allow us to preserve timestamps on upload? FileZilla Server? Something else?

Re: Preserving timestamps with IIS
(1) No idea, I use good servers, not MS IIS crap.
(2) FileZilla Server supports MFMT. It's a bit dated now, but, it's currently rewritten from scratch. Best solution unless you need to rely on Windows account integration.
Personally, I use ProVide Server, however, it's a paid solution. Supports account integration and many more features.

Re: Preserving timestamps with IIS
Thanks, I got FileZilla Server installed. It was straight forward to set up and seems to be working well so far, timestamps are being preserved.
