I have been using this client for several years now and thoroughly enjoy it. I also have been able to drag/drop from the remote window of the screen to anywhere on my computer, until now.
If I use the local pane then there is no problem drag/drop or double-click to download but when trying to choose the item from remote window and choosing to dra/drop to an external drive it no longer allows it. Did I miss a setting somewhere.
Also was wondering if you were having in the updates the notion to give us a dark background and larger text. Some of us have a hard time with white screens and small text....no I personally want to be able to adjust the txt size vs using accessibility feature of using a magnifying glass type of viewing.

Re: FileZilla-iMac Catalina
On macOS, dragging of remote files to other programs has never been available.

Re: FileZilla-iMac Catalina
Thanks for answering but I beg to differ sugar, I have been using Mac since 1999 and Filezilla for half the time and I have always been able to drag/drop from remote to desktop folders has always been possible.
I did not mean that I needed to place the files into another program, just my folders on the comp regardless of them being main side or externals.

Re: FileZilla-iMac Catalina
To clarify, are you referring to drag & drop from the remote views of FileZilla into the local views of FileZilla?

No I meant that when I attempt to dra/drop from remote view in Filezilla window to the actual folder on my comp whether external or normal desktop folder.
Re: FileZilla-iMac Catalina
The Mac version does not have any shell extension like the Windows version does. Thus, Drag&Drop to locations outside of FileZilla is not possible on Mac, at least from FileZilla's side. Must have been something else if it really worked earlier.
Note the lack of Drag&Drop to external locations on Mac and Linux versions is not a defect.

Re: FileZilla-iMac Catalina
Well darn it all, in the previous version I had El Capitan, I could do so maybe there is a terminal command that will allow it. Will ask in the apple forums. I know in Windows I had to install it as "run as administrator" to get any extra goodies...LOLThanks
