You can see the truth if you select the whole article include the 'emtpy' line at the bottom.

FileZilla is too good/important to be joking around like that.

ah, so I did guess correctly.

Aside from the hidden text (and the date), there was no real indication of being a joke, unlike RFC 1149

Ok, so now that I've survived my first hard attack, you had your fun and the impact of the 'joke' has faded, could you please delete the April 1 thread in the other forum? Or, if you don't want to do that at least modify the subject header? Maybe just put a questionmark behind it? If I hadn't taken the time to actually read the whole thread (and I very nearly hadn't) I would have believed that FZ was history.

Eventually yes, but at first the tears in my eyes blocked my vision after having read both "FileZilla" and "cancelled" in the same sentence. You must admit, it was a cruel joke
