How to use filezilla between 2 PC?????

Hi everybody,

I`m trying to connecting 2 PC (my laptop and my desktop) thru FileZilla in my LAN in order to sharing files, music, ecc, but still getting this answer :

Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Error: Connection timed out
Error: Could not connect to server
Status: Waiting to retry...
Status: Connecting to 84.105.34.96:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Error: Could not connect to server

What do I do wrong?? I use a LinkSys router and my both pc has windows XP media center.

That is not the LAN IP. In LAN, use the internal IP of the server.

I used indeed also an internal IP, but still nothing!
I created a Server on the desktop pc, I use the IP in the client filezilla from my laptop founded in Start>edit>cmd and than ipconfig (always keeping the port 21) but still getting the message :

Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Error: Connection timed out
Error: Could not connect to server

Check all firewalls on the 2 PCs. Disable them completely and test again.

I dont have a firewall softwares, only the standard firewall from windows, I disabled, but still the same

I use the IP in the client filezilla from my laptop founded in Start>edit>cmd and than ipconfig

Just to make sure, the ipconfig thing must be done on the server PC and the IP used from that.
