Statistics? web?

#1 Post by JMDDK » 2009-10-07 10:44

I'd like to have some sort of statistics on my server - anonymous statistics actually.
Is that in any way possible? Would be nice if i could make some statistics on a web page - but if its only local, that would be 100% okay too.

Let me know if you have any suggestions!

Thanks in advance.

You can enabled logging to file and then create your own analysis scripts.

Or i could write my own ftp program ;) Making my own script is not an option - i dont have the time to learn how to do it.

You could pay someone to write it for you.

Nothing that I know of. Plus, the server isn't developed currently, only fixed.

I actually have been working on a Python script for several months now that analyzes FileZilla server log files. It is nearing completion and I will be releasing it soon on sourceforge.net, I will make a post on this forum when it is done. Unfortunately it is terminal based and it will be writing all output to log files when I release it. Let me know what you want/expect to see from it, I am glad to take any suggestions.
