cannot acces ftp server via internet

Hello everybody. Here's my problem.

I've setup an ftp server using filezilla server, at my laptop.
It works fine with "ftp://localhost" , "ftp://<router_ip>" , but when it comes to "ftp://<external_ip>" as a url, i cannot login with the account i have created in filezilla server.

Command: USER user
Response: 331 Password required.
Command: PASS ****
Response: 530 Permission denied
Error: Critical error
Error: Could not connect to server

this is what i get in filezilla client...

I can only login at "ftp://<external_ip>" using host's username and password, and as a result, i get the ftp page without the shared folders i've selected...

I cannot imagine what's wrong so any tip would be helpful.

Response: 530 Permission denied

This message does not come from FileZilla server. If you're testing your server from within your LAN, you must use the LAN IP.

As i mentioned when i use the LAN ip everything is ok.

What i actually want to do, is to give to a friend of mine, access to some of my files. But he is not in my LAN, so
i want to make it work via internet.
