Okay, so I found my password, but I'm still getting the error message. It says: 530 login incorrect

Wrong username and/or password. Or even wrong server. Try entering everything as-is, including case. If it still won't work, it could be the FTP account has been suspended.

I was having the same issue with godaddy/filezilla 3.5.3. What worked for me was changing the ftp user password.

My password was something like this and wasn't working
ABCb@cky2

changed to something like this
R@is0n
This password worked. I have no I idea why though.

Hope this helps someone.

What worked for me on getting FTPS working was simply removing the user from the group they were in, and setting group <none>.

Note: I was using auth tls with ssl login required, win 7.
