Disconnected from server: ECONNABORTED - Connection aborted

#1 Post by Buck » 2010-08-25 19:05

Alright, so first off my FTPS and FTPES is working just fine using PASV. I made another account and took off the "Force SSL for user login" so that this login could just use normal FTP (?). I do not have "Disallow plain unencrypted FTP" in the settings.

This is what happens:

Filezilla client 3.3.4.1:

I've replaced the actual username with just "(username here) " obviously

I have opened ports 50000-50099 UDP and TCP,990 TCP,21 TCP on my firewall and it names the WAN IP --> Local and Local --> WAN. Normal users who login using FTPS and FTPES still work just fine, but normal FTP doesn't seem to work. This is a business so there isn't anything wrong with the provider screwing up the FTP connection (other FTP servers work fine). And yes I've read the network configuration guide.

Ideas?

I should note that if I do active it gets past there but then does this:

Command: TYPE I
Response: 200 Type set to I
Command: PORT 109,203,103,134,194,13
Response: 200 Port command successful
Command: MLSD
Response: 150 Opening data channel for directory list.
Response: 425 Can't open data connection.
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

FTP uses only TCP.
and it names the WAN IP --> Local and Local --> WAN. Normal users who login using FTPS and FTPES still work just fine, but normal FTP doesn't seem to work. This is a business so there isn't anything wrong with the provider screwing up the FTP connection
It's your router (or a firewall) doing this. Please read http://wiki.filezilla-project.org/Netwo ... a_sabotage.
No support requests over PM! You will NOT get any reply!!!
FTP connection problems? Please read Network Configuration.

You do not need UDP.
This is a business so there isn't anything wrong with the provider screwing up the FTP connection (other FTP servers work fine).
There have been many cases before where users of so-called "business connections" were not allowed to host servers and incoming ports were blocked by their providers.
