Can't get past Initializing TLS
I'm not sure why it won't get past initializing TLS. I haven't used FZ for a couple weeks, but I don't think I saw this error before. Trying to setup wordpress and I'm stuck.

Re: Can't get past Initializing TLS
From here I can get past the TLS handshake. It appears that some firewall on your end of the connection is interfering with FileZilla. Try uninstalling all firewalls, does that make any difference?

Re: Can't get past Initializing TLS
Hmm... it might, I'm trying from my work network. Let me try that and try from home and see...

Yep, work firewalls. I'll remember to disable firewalls when using filezilla at work from now on. Thanks!

Re: Can't get past Initializing TLS
Hi to all at the forum. I've just spotted this thread whilst researching an identical problem and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what ports/protocols need to be opened (if any) in addition to the usual ports in order for the TLS handshake to succeed? If it helps then below is the connection log showing the failed connection attempt.

Re: Can't get past Initializing TLS
If you use Passive mode to connect to the server, FileZilla will only need to make outgoing connections on arbitrary ports. No incoming ports have to be configured.
You seem to be stopped by a firewall.

Re: Can't get past Initializing TLS
Thanks for the feedback. Our sysadmins are looking into it now.
Re: Can't get past Initializing TLS
I am having a similar problem my file uploads to site like fileserve etc get to 100% and just start over, I have disabled my router firewall and my software firewall, but the problem still persists.
What can I try?

Sorry, but how is that in any way similar to not being able to initialize TLS?billhiggs wrote:I am having a similar problem my file uploads to site like fileserve etc get to 100% and just start over, I have disabled my router firewall and my software firewall, but the problem still persists.
