Hi, I'm using filezilla server and client and would like to configure them to generate a temp file with a different name than the original file while the transfer is going. I've looked in the configuration preferences but can't find anything related to this.
I need this to enable this option because I have another process monitoring the destination folder and I don't what to trigger the process until the transfer is 100% completed.

Temporary filenames are supported neither by the client nor the server.

Usually temporary upload names is a server feature, e. g. PureFTPd has it. I'm not aware of any Windows FTP server supporting it, though.

Is there a plan to add this functionality ? It would be really useful in many cases.
