I am unable to open any Word files. I get the message " No program has been associated with this file type." It is just any Word document, which I have been able to open fine before. What do I do?

You could either adjust your system associations or create a custom association in the settings dialog of FileZilla.

I'm not very good with Filezilla, so I don't know how to do what you mentioned. I just thought it odd that out of the blue it can't recognize .doc files, but still sees Excel and other Office programs. I didn't change settings or do anything different than what I always do, which worked fine before. Are there subjects in a help section on how to do what you mentioned I could try? Thanks

I got the same problem trough google i came here. For me it was simple:

1. in top bar under edit press settings.
2. press associated-file types
3. backup all text if this solution is not working
4. Clear all text
5. press OK

This worked for me! :D

Thanks for this! I discovered the same problem today, but your suggestion fixed it. I never had a problem before. Maybe something got screwed up in an update?
