we are using Filezilla client to work with Apache FTP server over FTPS, and the certificate is generated by Keytool and is deployed in Apache FTP Serever. But when we try to use FileZilla Client to connet to the Apache FTP Server, the certificate information shown by FileZilla client has problem with the "Valid from" and "Valid to", while the other information are all shown correct. See attached screen shot. I am pretty sure that the certificate generated by the Keytool is correct with the valid period
Is there anyone knows the cause of the issue?
Thanks

Re: Certificate Issue
Can you please send me a copy of the certificate for further analysis?
Re: Certificate Issue
I'm already experimenting with keytool. Could you also give the commandline you used to create it (only general syntax, no private data, of course) so I can recreate the problem?
And you're using Apache MINA FTP Server 1.0.6?

Re: Certificate Issue
Thanks for the response. I have attached the certificate here(please change the extension to jks after you download it), it is the example certificate provided by Apache FTP Server(1.0.6), it should be Valid from: Sun Jun 19 18:01:23 CST 2011 until: Wed Jun 18 18:01:23 CST 2014. While in the FileZilla client, it shows Valid from: 26/06/3372 - Not yet valid, Valid to: 26/06/3375.
And in the FileZilla client's certificate prompt box, there is a check-box at the end: "Always trust certificate in future sessions", but it is disabled, can not be checked, is that because from FileZilla client point of view the certificate is not valid ?
Thanks
Wilton

Re: Certificate Issue
Nope, I'm getting the following:
@botg: The certificate dialog doesn't seem to honor the date listing formats set in the FZ configuration.
That's different from what you're getting. Maybe your entry comes from %USERPROFILE%\.keystore?@botg: The certificate dialog doesn't seem to honor the date listing formats set in the FZ configuration.

Re: Certificate Issue
Can't use the certificate file, it's in a format I don't know. Please try PEM format.
