Pausing File Transfers

#1 Post by DavidS » 2011-04-25 13:34

I am currently downloading hundreds of files from the FTP site to my laptop. It looks like it will take over 24 hours to transfer everything. How do I pause the transfer without losing any of the files so that my laptop can be shut down intermittently?

Toggle the Process queue item in the toolbar, or use menu Server - Process queue, or <CTRL>+P. This will stop the queue. Then simply close FileZilla, queue should be saved. Later you simply open FileZilla and use Process queue again.
