Escape colon in username with cli on windows

Hello,

I would like to escape colon in command line for a windows client for sftp access

I want that when a user try to login with filezilla.exe sftp://my:user@host , it asks for a password for the user 'my:user' and not use 'my' as login and 'user' as password.

Is there a way to do such a thing ?

Unfortunately not possible.

Your best option would be to get rid of unusual characters such as a colon from usernames.
