550 No connections Allowed from your IP

im a little new to this, however i have a friend that is trying to login into my ftp server, however he is getting an error "550 No Connections Allowed From your IP", i believe that my cuz has blocked this ip by accident, how would i unblock that ip. or at least check to make sure that it is not blocked.

If he's on the temporary banlist, simply restart the server. If he's on the permanent list of disallowed IPs, check the IP filter settings. Both in the general settings dialog as well in the settings for the particular user.

i checked the ip filter setting's and sure enough the ip was blocked, thanks again for your help.
