See service in task manager but no window on Vista SP1

I installed Vista SP1 and now Filezilla client does not launch. I installed 3.0.8.1 and there is a service that starts in task manager but the window does not open.

Has anyone seen this? Any ideas. I have tried uninstalling, reboot and reinstall and still get the same behavior.

The client doesn't install any services.

I guess you mean that a task is shown in task manager. Did you try starting FZ as Administrator?
