Failed to write XML file

When I am trying to launch Filezilla, I get a Failed to Write XML File message followed by Could not write "C:\....\FileZilla\layout.xml": Failed to write XML file message and Could not write "C:\....\FileZilla\queue.xml": Failed to write XML file message. Any thoughts on how to fix. Then Filezilla launches and connects but disconnects before I can open any directories.

I have tried reinstalling Filezilla and it does fix the issue.

Solution for me was to unHide the Application/Filezilla folder.
Using XP
