Hello,
our FTP client in SQL Anywhere (SAP) tries to connect to Filezilla Server via FTP "type A N" (ASCII nonprint), the filezilla server displays that the type is unsupported.
"501 Unsupported type. Supported types are I, A and L 8"
where can i find the setting in FileZilla Server 1.0.1 (2021) to enable "Type A N"?
Or is there any command which does the trick?
greets,
Alex

Re: 501 Unsupported type
TYPE A without second argument is equivalent to TYPE A N.
Re: 501 Unsupported type
The server was not accepting "A N", which is, however, as Tim wrote above, equivalent to just "A".
Starting from the next nightly build, "A N" will also be supported.

He won't be able to answer, as, for some strange reason, he wanted to have his account closed.
